I write for work. Emails, proposals, marketing materials, project plans, technical specs, and anything else that is required to communicate direction. Probably because this consumes so much of my day, I don’t write much else.
A man I respect says that writing is best means to exercise critical thinking, organize thoughts, and that it is therapeutic. I also believe that writing on different subjects is great brain exercise. My Grandmother wrote a daily diary from the early 1940s until she passed in 1998. Her mental clarity was excellent until the end, she was sharp as a tack. I want what she had, so I will take inspiration from that and hope it serves me as well.
I choose to begin by writing about health, what I’ve learned from my efforts over the past few years. We’ll see where it goes from there.
